Even before entering public service, Nina built a diverse professional background spanning education, finance, technology, and business. During her college years, she worked as an advertising representative for The Daily Campus, tutored students at the SMU Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center, and became a teaching aide at Kumon Learning Center. She also gained valuable industry experience through internships with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Risk Assurance and with the Manila Teachers' Savings & Loans Association, Inc. in Information Technology.

Prior to assuming elected office, she worked as a Client Service Representative at LSIS Holdings, Inc. In 2017, she joined Apple Inc. in Austin, Texas, where she served as a Data Analyst, further strengthening her expertise in technology, data management, and business operations.

Her commitment to public service began long before her election to Congress. In 2016, she served as Assistant Campaign Manager of Manila Teachers Party-list, helping strengthen its grassroots engagement and organizational efforts. Two years later, she was appointed Chief of Staff, where her leadership contributed to securing the party-list's successful bid for a second consecutive term in Congress.

As Representative of Manila Teachers Party-list, Nina Lacson remains committed to advancing policies that uplift the teaching profession, improve access to quality education, promote digital innovation, strengthen financial systems, empower women, and support inclusive and sustainable national development through responsive and forward-looking legislation.
